Oh! This is the first one I’ve seen ever! It hasn’t been warm here except for the previous two days.

It was difficult to get those fuzzies in focus with the rest of the body!

Me, too! And it looks like they range all the way down to Northern California. (This is the first time I’ve ever seen one in my eight years living here.)

I love walking around my garden in the spring to see the daily changes. This beautiful deceptive sallow moss caught my attention today and was kind enough to hang around for me to run back inside and grab my #nikon.
