‘Dwned’, a journal about the literature and manuscripts of Wales up to 1800, is available online (including the original print issues) 📚

A little announcement to start the year: over the next few days all sites of the Van Hamel Foundation (CODECS included) will go offline for an upgrade and unless anything unforeseen happens, should be back up within a week or so.

Pleasantly surprised to see this on a #MediaWiki conference: on #MUDCon, Florian Thiery just presented a great rundown of study cases involving the use of #Wikibase software to record archaeological objects and sites, including Ogham stones, Irish holy wells and even Govan stones

Friends, while we were caught in the whirlwind of the announcement that our Faculty intends to close our programme, we have been quiet here. In part, because we have no words to express our shock and sadness, in part also because we wanted to think about the best way forward. 1/2
