Maya (she/they) is an ambiguous species of anthropomorphic dog person with bright red curly hair and light grey fur. she wields a crystal knife in one hand and a cane in the other. The cane has a lantern hanging from it with a soul inside. Maya has visible burned-in anti magic sigils all over her body. She has experimented on herself extensively in an effort to remove them to varying degrees of success. Such experiments also led to her developing crippling back pain and dragon-like eyes that can see perfectly in the dark, but fail to adjust for the day.

Let's properly meet Maya!

An isolated cumulus cloud is being pulled into some sort of void against a deep blue sky. If I could just get high enough, I could get through it. Please, let me go.

An endless sea of altrostratus clouds is broken by a stress fracture. Blood has soaked the crack and is pouring from the sky above. The weight of whatever was up there was too much.

Clouds stretch across the sky in bands that resemble a rib cage. The sunset beneath saturates the sky in blood red. The world is doing you no favors, you know.

A luminous singular cloud in the shape of a brain floats in an unknown space. Tendrils and sinew hang below it, probably the last vestiges and memories of what was. Can you really leave everything behind?

Well that's dumber than fuck.

I've had multiple uncles who weren't blood related over here. It seems to me like it can be used almost like an honorific for a non-blood friend who might as well be a family member because of how close they are.
I have no idea what this discourse is, but thought I'd say that's the same over here.

There's some absolute gems in there, I hope you do this again sometime when you've more unfinished work you're comfortable with sharing. I love seeing your artwork, and this has been really nice. All the Daniel and Carol sketches were lovely, as was literally everything in the thread.

To kick this off, have this sequence. I almost completed it, but then got stuck on the last panel. Gave up after the third redraw.
