Today is Nakba Day. It marks 77 years of violence, occupation, displacement, and genocide of Palestinian people by Israel. There were coordinated banner drops today over I95 in Portland, Bangor, and Waterville to call attention to this day and the ongoing onslaught of violence against Palestinians.
