ASA response to use of Australian books to train AI - Australian Society of Authors The ASA attended the Attorney-General’s Department copyright roundtable on AI, to give voice to authors’ concerns and interests.

I, like many other authors, have had work fed into the AI meat-grinder with neither my consent nor compensation. Really like this statement from the Australian Society of Authors, which articulates the fundamental disrespect this shows to creatives.
