Maybe someone heavily leaned on one to make a youtube video, or some artwork, and are worried that using "too much" information from it it will be a copyright violation. So they don't mention it specifically hoping that viewers will assume a variety of vague sources were used.

I'm just finishing off listening now, and something occurred to me, and I don't doubt you realised too, but I don't remember you saying it.

I wonder if a lot of people (including me) don't understand the IP around scientific papers.

Some good points. I feel it's an uphill battle anyway. They'll just move the goalposts and then put the burden of proof on you again.

A lot of experiments wouldn't be possible for an average person, though.

There are a couple of standard pizza boxes that takeaways seem to have. But this one seems a bad design. I'll go out on a limb and say nobody in the UK has a cooker with °f on it.

I always wished there was Thunderbird (email) on my phone. But I did find k-9 mail, which I've used for years. And now, K-9 has become Thunderbird. It's the perfect outcome. Thunderbird even imported my k-9 settings and accounts, and I used them straight away.

Not long back, my parents send an email with details of where their will etc is. Then they told me about their funeral details. And what makes it worse is now they told me not to bother sending Christmas cards. 🤔

I'm totally on board, but…

The argument I've heard is something like "how do we know we can trust scientists, even their 'rivals'? How do we know it's not a conspiracy to push an agenda? We can't personally do the experiments & have no way of understanding the results."

How do you respond to that?

Sometimes spam/scams are quite convincing, but this one made me chuckle.

Sitting, waiting for my son. I'm by some lavender flowers and there are so many of these #bees. What a busy, content life they seem to have. There are a few butterflies, too.

This was so good. You had to play each day about 1000 times and note everything down to figure out everything that happens, when and where. So you can finally do it one last day and make sure you witness everything you need.

I still love this and come back to it periodically. I love the expansion packs, although I never got into the magic one as much as the others. I'm amazed there weren't a big pile of "clone" games after its initial success.
