I feel like a kid walking into a candy store for the first time. It's unbelievable how well this game fits me (my two favorite mechanisms, my favorite theme/second hobby, and a solo+multiplayer mode).

Believe me. I'm equally excited to get my hands on this game. It feels like it was designed for me.

Will it be available at Spiel? (please say yes and take my money)

I don't think it fixed your country though but I'm probably not the best person to judge 🤷

Jury in Until Proven Guilty. It's a 3D cardboard bench with 6 jurors on the first floor and 6 jurors on the second floor. Some are blue, representing innocent. Some are red, representing guilty.

Solo played Until Proven Guilty from DV Games.

I don't recommend the game for its price even if the production is great. Weirdly the components are of too high quality for a one off play.

I think they could have done something like Final Girl (core box + cases).

Everything is relative.

I guess most people think they'd have played a lot if they managed 70 plays in a year.

To me, playing only 70 times in a month is on the lower side (I was traveling which explains it)

Notice the little lines on the goal tokens themselves? These should match the weeks so there is an escalation in week difficulty.

I did the same mistake myself in the beginning but I actually like ignoring the lines during setup and have drastic shifts in strategy.

Let's call this the hard mode.

Forest Shuffle from @lookoutgames.bsky.social continued its reign in July thanks to the solo mode in Exploration.

Kingsbridge, the competitive solitaire from Wolfgang Kramer and @kosmosgamesuk.bsky.social that I randomly bought at a sale, got closest to toppling it.

I have played many games of Forest Shuffle from @lookoutgames.bsky.social and even more after getting the Exploration expansion.

On the fifth try at the Insects challenge, never having gotten 10 insects, I finally noticed that butterflies are insects too!

I expected Fog of Love from 2017 to make the list to set the mood for some repopulation action 🤭

This game just looks so good and the meeple throwing mechanic is so much fun.

Solo opponent is simple to operate but I would have wanted cards instead of dice + a round tracker.

BGStats for May. 74 plays. 43 games of which 16 were new to me. 27 players. 34 hours of play spread over 31 days. Avignon: A clash of popes at the top with 6 plays. Then Flamme Rouge, Russie Mussie, Ugly Gryphon Inn and Unsurmountable with 3 plays. Followed by Wyrmspan, Finspan, Wingspan and Power Vacuum with 2 plays each.

A new pope was elected in May. Around that time I played Avignon: A Clash of Popes with different people.

I also did two #threespan plays in May 🐠🐦🐉

A slump in plays in the middle of May but started to pick up again toward the end.

What made Family Pack (Loups-Garous) fun was that it was so unexpected and I haven't played Werewolves in a long time so I spent the entire movie trying to remember all the different roles.

Even if the movie won't win any awards I was engaged and full of joy/surprise the whole time

Turns out it was Werewolves of Miller's Hollow the movie.

It's an ok family flick, but it is the best movie based on real #boardgames I think I've seen 😉

Can't wait to try it out. I do like campaigns but only if the offer some variety, not just a story.

Will play the base game a couple of times before I try it out.
