Thats not a contradiction.

If I just retextualize rules for example, I might have interpreted stuff during my play, but if it doesnt show up in the review, it doesnt matter from my perspective as a reader

He probably forgot to add "by the creators of the game", i.e. it is possible to be paid by a news outlet for example. Or Patreon.

It would be hard to pinpoint the exact point (how many grains for a hill?), but there is a lower limit of impression/interpretation a review can contain without being a mere summary of the thing itself.

Yeah, the trend is more to have 6 tracks, that are all influence each other and then you multioly thecpoints reached or something.

Like I said, I often start with different parts of a game that are unconnected. But when I feel the game feels convoluted or opaque or some parts feel underrepresentated, it helps connecting them back to the main focus of the game.
