Not only that, the saint in the middle, San Cecilio, was invented by these Moriscos. The bones were supposed to be his relics. The saint became the patron of Granada and, in a Joshua Cutchin way (Fourth Wall Phantoms) miracles ensued!

The more I read about it the stranger it gets. Like they buried these "ancient texts" with bones...where did they get the skeletons? Grave robbing? The dude was a genius!

WIP of Miguel de Luna initiating the whole Lead Books escapade. I don’t see de Luna as a fraud. I see a visionary, working between faiths, trying to imagine some harmony for Moriscos in 16th c. Spain. The Lead Books feel less like deception and more like a massive hypersigil written into history.

I’ve loved this story ever since I read about it years ago. I kind of hold Miguel de Luna as an inspirational ancestor (if not an actual ancestor since my family is originally from Granada!)

After watching the 5th ep of #StarfleetAcademy I don't think Sam is a hologram like The Doctor. She seems to be a sentient holodeck! I think that's why she was able to project Jake after reading the book. If this is the case, it opens up a ton of possibilities for guests appearances! #startrek
