It would be neat if someone did a survey of Americans asking them to rank these forms of theft in order of how much money is stolen.

My bet is that - if they were told shoplifting was part of larceny - most would think that was the biggest category.

This is a key point. Much of 20th/21st C. “innovation” has been a “pursuit of loneliness” (to borrow a phrase from P.Slater). From private cars to “home as castle”; cable, narrowcasting & all the ways the internet helps us avoid interaction. An atomized ppl are easier to sell to & easier to control.

Got a quick look at the new upcoming expansion for Burning Banners from Compass Games called The Southern Expansion. It has 3 new races (Elves, Mara Mitai and Savage Orcs). These are only prototype components. Thanks to Curtis for the overview.

Played my first game of VANTAGE this morning with my 14yo. No pics or details because Spoilers. A couple goofs and one “reset” but we completed a mission. The game is very “soft”, it gives you a lot of freedom to approach things in different ways, and rewards curiosity- what you want from exploring.
