Incarcerated people deserve to have their voices heard. Tom Gores, owner of Securus (and also owner of the Detroit Pistons 👀) must disagree. Writers who are locked up already have to make due with horrendous UI and a lack of word processors as it is, this is just cruelty for cruelty's sake.

The Christian fascist new Columbia movement are suing 14 drag defenders in retaliation for the consistent countering of NCM's transphobic protests. On September 19th the court will hear arguments on NCM's temporary injunction that seeks to undermine privacy when protesting in Tarrant county. If granted the injunction forces a restraining order against the Defendants and will allow NCM to demand any protestor to remove face coverings if they suspect they may be one of the drag defenders named.

Hearing of a protest inside Stillwater prison on Sunday, family members of inmates, advocates & press appeared outside the prison two days in a row. The sister of Marvin Haynes & the fiancé of Cornelius Jackson, both housed in Stillwater, spoke to UR outside the prison (see vid).
