It DOES grate on me that she's only 16. It doesn't seem terribly realistic somehow. Her prefrontal cortext won't fully form for another 5 years. Make her in early-mid 20s at least, you know?

I read AB somewhere after the 3rd or 4th book (can't remember now) and tbh I don't think it makes the biggest difference where you read it. You're still all reading the same books, you're still going to bawl your eyes out toward the end, you're still going to fall in love with the same characters.
