I know professors personally who have had their lives destroyed by being doxxed by the Professor Watchlist organized by Turning Point USA, for saying the "wrong thing" in class one time. I will not celebrate violence but I also will not pretend this is "practicing politics the right way."

To be clear, I'm not broken up over Charlie's death. I'm not even opposed to those celebrating it (God knows the man was an asshole).

My concern is that this could give additional legitimacy (something even fascist regimes care about!) to the administration to commit even *more* heinous shit
