I went from using a 50 year old Riccar and a cheap Brother to a Janome Skyline S9.
It is an amazing machine, it's makes things so much easier. I love using all hand control.
I have spinal injuries that make using a fool pedal difficult.

I generally sew fabrics on the machines unless I'm doing something I feel I would do better by hand.
I do a lot of leather work and I sew the majority of my leather craft by hand. I definitely understand it being good for the head.

When her mother passed away recently she brought home some canned food that just sits in our pantry.

The lawn mowers sold by Honda, Toro, Troy Bilt, Murray, etc, are designed to last 50 hours or 4-5 years.
This, well maintained, 3000+ hours is the norm and I'm meticulous about maintenance. My last walk behind!
