There is not much need for extra space during construction. A few staging sites, but generally along the length of the EL there wouldn't be much width needed for construction.

Here's a screenshot of the Canada Line construction with not much space between it and a preexisting building.

I envision it only existing for the elevated segment along Powell because there'd be space to do it without adding much cost to the project, and there it'd actually be great. It's flat and straight!

I've looked, and it's only 34 buildings that would need to be demolished to complete the ROW alongside Powell, between Foster and 205, none of which are very large.

If it saves a pretty penny compared to tunneling then it's worth it.

I'm a Portlander many thousands of miles away. I don't know the various arguments around the question of status in PR, but the people of PR are undoubtedly intimately aware of the arguments and have pretty convincingly decided that they'd prefer statehood to the other options.

Ok, I'm sorry but like, Puerto Ricans have undoubtedly heard these arguments, and they were clearly unconvinced by them.

It's arrogant to insist that they are wrong, and should be denied statehood. If they voted for independence then I'd say we need to grant them that, but they haven't done that!

I need to order an in-line fuse and a voltage step down. Will power LED strips and a car horn off the ebike battery this way.
