and thought you’d like a little piece of its light,
sweet soul.

the light of a soul,
  delicate as breath—
 foliated, succulent,
  always voyaging, never arriving;
an unending stream,
  it smoothes away this pain.

    so let me fall
     into this river of you;

 and let me swim in this feeling
  of becoming.

A winding country road curves through a quiet, misty landscape, bordered by low stone walls and puddles glistening on the asphalt. The mountains in the distance fade into fog.

and should this road
  bear my feet,
then let me lose myself
     separating the day
  from my skin;

let me be
 your flower of contentment,
    breaking
through
stony ground—

    and the sky trembled,
and so did my
