Yes, Iβd just brought it in.

23.11.2024 06:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Some early infernal combustion. This is part of a McLaren-Benz MDB4, out of one of the earliest surviving diesel locomotives. Itβs part of a long term project to return the loco to working order and is probably the most involved power unit restoration yet attempted - see www.kerrstuart4415.org.uk
22.11.2024 16:03 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Whilst Severn Bridge Jn is famous for its sheer size as the largest remaining mechanical SB, nearby is the equally impressive Crewe Jn. SBJ lost its LNWR locking frame in the early 1960s in favour of a lightweight WR frame, but CJ retains the very solidly built LNWR frame from 1903.

01.11.2024 07:39 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt get the hate for the Loram colours - ultimately Loram have invested in keeping 418 going, and keeping it mechanically good and working on the mainline is more important than the paint pigment.
