I’d say it’d probably depend on circumstances and the order of events.

There are far more voters than ICE agents. People should plan to stay at their polling place all day. Make it a party. Meet your neighbors. Talk politics. Gather food trucks. Make it a safe place for voters who are nervous. ICE agents always back off when they are outnumbered.

O I don’t mean one of us , I mean one of them.

What if one of these monsters predated upon another? Would the others rally against it , or would they recognize it as a leader or something inspirational?

They flaunt power by breaking taboo but what if one broke taboo against the others?

The breaking or flouting of taboo has always been a sign of power among the aristocracy but I’ve always wondered what would happen if someone predated on the predators themselves.

This isn’t arguing imo , we’re just having a discussion about violence and its effectiveness.

Also most folks only consider it self-defense when the violence is reactive , but it can be used proactively to great effect as well.

Violence can be exceptionally effective for specific purposes , like permanently eliminating threats.

I feel like the insistence that any solution to oppression be non violent or that’s it’s only permissible use is self defense is incorrect.

Doesn’t make it ineffective though , if anything it just highlights how effective it really is

If violence is ineffective then why does every government in the world demand a monopoly on its use?

Mother Nature built almost the entire Tree of Life on this planet with violence and predation and your entire body is a seething warzone of different microbes trying to eat one another.

This idea that violence is inherently bad or evil is foolish.

Everyone should have a threshold beyond which they are fully willing to wreak revolution upon their system of government.

Unfortunately I am beginning to suspect that a large number of liberals in the US do not have such a threshold and are willing to submit to anything required to NOT revolt.

If voting for the “lesser evil” actually worked then why has evil only gotten stronger and more prevalent as time has gone by?

But hey if she wins the primary , has good policies and isn’t just a lesser evil I’ll consider voting for her.
