3. Don't use AI to pitch editors. Don't track down their phone numbers. Follow the pitch guidelines. Pitch via forms or the official email. You're not being clever by trying to go around official avenues.

It's frustrating for editors and for writers who are doing legitimate work. My best advice to writers right now is this:

1. Be human and do video/phone interviews. AI can't replicate conversations.
2. Have your portfolio updated. It's a must for landing clients but also helps prove your identity.

Plus Kazakhstan (and the world) suffered a huge loss in figure skating when Denis Ten was killed, so this is healing for them and the sport in that way, too.

i feel so sad for ilia. i'm not really his biggest fan but his intense love for figure skating is adorable. in a way it's good that he has this. he's a great learner. he will learn from it and be back stronger. also i'm incredibly happy for misha, yuma, and shun! 🥹
