@massbike.bsky.social FYI. All for education and safety, but given some of our councilors positions on things like bike lanes or protected bicycle infrastructure, I feel like this is more of a veiled threat.

@gravelinfluencer.bsky.social we need to tax ground level parking lots downtown at higher rates to promote development. Want parking? Fine, but it should be below or above ground level businesses.

UPS just tried (incorrectly) to deliver to me a rather heavy package of what I can only assume were beans from a local coffee roaster. Managed to catch the driver and returned said package before they left. Fairly certain I am deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize due to this action alone.

Have been thinking about this as well. The view is really something else. Amazed there isn't more development there, but don't know enough about the environmental remediate likely needed to switch it over from body shops to housing & other possible environmental or engineering issues. Also NIMBY 🙄

Don't get me started. Lately all the news is activating every public health cell in my body and putting them all simultaneously into attack mode. The degree of fear mongering, scientific illiteracy, and pure idiocy is shocking.

Being FL born & raised, I'm deeply troubled by their politicization of public health in opposition of science

Ok, but to play devil's advocate I'd argue that providing this kind of platform can potentially lend credibility to FL position - a position that I agree (with Hank) is wrong for public health. But it wasn't long ago that we had folks fighting against mandatory covid vax for first responders in MA.
