31.07.2025 21:17 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0@explosionsinthesky.bsky.social was the perfect way to close out the Big Ears weekend. Another band Iโve longed to see live for 20 years, they didnโt disappoint. Serenaded by the delicate, chiming melodies, then smothered by chords so thick they envelop you like a warm blanket. It was beautiful.

It was amazing to get the rare opportunity to see mรบm in person after 20 years. Just as beautiful as expected.

31.03.2025 01:01 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I had the very special opportunity to help bring to life a piece by my good friend William Wright and Knoxville poet R.B. Morris at this yearโs Big Ears festival, surrounded by many other dear friends. Now onto enjoying all the other amazing music happening this weekend.

But IMAP search is pretty limited, and I wanted an experience closer to Gmail search, without actually giving Google all my data. Fastmail search feels just as good as Gmailโs.

30-50: Terrorists
50-present: the people who copied off me in high school.
Itโs so good!

17.11.2024 01:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah, thatโs the thing. Even 110 is totally fine for most day to day use. We had a Nissan Leaf and never got around to installing a level 2 charger, because the 110 โtrickle chargerโ it came with was always able to top off the 30-40 miles we drove each day. Any type of level 2 is probably plenty
16.11.2024 17:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Nice to hear Alan Sparhawk was good. My brother and I had tickets, but when Godspeed canceled, we decided not to go. In hindsight I wish weโd still gone. Low was super good so Iโm sure Alanโs solo stuff is also amazing
16.11.2024 02:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0When the Roomba gets stuck and runs out of battery, and I have to carry him back to his charging station, I canโt help but feel a bit like YT in Snow Crash, dragging the damaged Rat Thing back to its hutch. I hope he tells his doggie friends about the nice human who helped him.
16.11.2024 01:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The main downside I didnโt realize until I bought one is that you have to clean it every single time between uses. If you cook again on a cooktop that still has oil splattered on it from last time, itโll bake it in, so you have to make sure itโs clean. It was nice to be able to be lazy sometimes
