My grandfather was a big part of why I love games. 10 years ago when he died I was alone in Scotland finishing my dissertation. I lived in an awful, small, single bad flat and when I was told, I remember screaming in anger and pain. I tried to draw this moment. Don't think I can finish this.

When I learned the Enum trick I couldn't believe I never used it before 😂 That Enum.GetValues thing annoyed me for months.

the snow falling over the edge is such a beautiful touch. I'm locked into Unity for a while but have been dabbling in Godot for a year or so, so I'll be sure to mark these tips for later 😀

That was so hypnotic to watch and the end result is incredible. Wonderful stuff! If you can continue ignoring those feelings, I'd love to see more of these timelapses🙂

I tried taking a break, but my mental health stuff is a bit, well, mental. When I stopped working, I started thinking about non-work related things, which led to scary thoughts. So I wrote another article about Taking Breaks while failing entirely to take a break

Yakuza 0 was my favorite. I spend hours and hours on the mini games in it 😁

It is! Some of the milestones felt a little anticlimactic but this one really hit hard 😃

I got back to my computer for an evening of game dev stuff and after reading this message I can do so with a smile. Thank you for your kind words 🌷

I've found I have about a 30% depressed 60% normal and 10% manic ratio so hopefully I'll be back to normal soon enough. You all have lifted my spirits recently and I don't care if that sounds kinda sad, I'm just very grateful.

Anyway, back to it.

I'm a fairly isolated person. I use a wheelchair and a pile of walking aids to move around, so I don't get out much at all. I've been in such a good mood lately but I can feel the depression tugging a little so I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for being so encouraging with this game

I love this! The way the wind rolls through the grass is fantastic!

It was an incredible learning experience. I feel much better equipped now for dealing with things like promoting the game 😀
