The waitress, a few decades our senior, was very confused and ask do you know what you are ask. So my wife repeated again “Darf ich ein bisschen mit dir schlafen?”

My wife tells this story. She studied German in college and we went to a local German restaurant. As we were finishing up, talking about how tired we were, she told me she was going to hang back a second and talk to a waitress with a strong accent
