Very cool paper from Kenji Kitamura and co-authors estimating #ECD status with telephone vs. in-person interviews. Using @unicef.org #ECDI203 in Nepal, they find similar results across (randomly assigned) modality. Phone interviews are a reasonable approach!

The series builds on the evidence base of previous Lancet series on ECD and focuses on the changing needs children face as they transition to later early childhood. We highlight a series of key nurturing care supports (and show how often they are lacking) and review the international evidence base.
