This is the reason why life in outer space will be meh.
I agree with the reliability issues. But those appear once in a blue moon and their free version is the strongest among competitors that appeals to students like me.

I believe Switzerland
They have the Infrastructure to support CERN.
They are neutral enough for the WEF to meet at Davos each year.
They are isolated and secure enough that even Hilter didn't dare invading them.

It is actually not that much of a hassle and helps with more mindful spending.
Made the switch to #GrapheneOS 3 months ago.
- Took 30 minutes to install.
- Have been enjoying a bug free, secure environment ever since.
People didn't appreciate it until this facelift came along.

17.01.2026 01:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0People hear only what they want to hear. If they are earning insane returns over the past 2 years, why will they listen to anything that doesn't fit their vision. Irrationality is a defining human trait.
16.01.2026 17:52 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Some people like to demonize cloudflare's market share. But as a web developer, I find them affordable for domains, decently easy to use and feature packed. They are rapidly innovating, especially against AI crawlers. And their free version goes a very long way.
16.01.2026 17:32 โ ๐ 19 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0We have moved to a system where investors prioritise short term gains over long term viability.
Calling demand infinite fits well into the narrative of rapid ever-lasting infinite growth.
Thus, I dont think anyone should bother with such statements.
Endless demand can exist, atleast in an unsustainable manner, especially if the supply is too low to meet the demand.
16.01.2026 17:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0They don't plan on subsidizing it. Either ways hardware sales are their lowest revenue contributors. And they have enough financial stability to try new formats.

Instead of training, let's use previous results. So basically stack overflow but here its human - ai conversations.
But 1) wouldn't it raise privacy concerns. Especially for corporate use cases. 2) its impossible to manually go through all the answers to guarantee accuracy.
LLMs are right 98% of the time. But if you feed the 2% hallucination back as training data, over many iterations, wouldn't you be diluting the accuracy of your responses.

Tried making a 4 bit computer, but ended up using an Arduino to manage I2C ROM. Any non microcontroller alternatives for storage?
