In states with the weakest gun safety laws, the IPHS rate was three times higher than in states with the strongest gun safety laws.

A firearm was the primary weapon used in 85 percent of all studied IPHS incidents, killing nearly 1,600 women, or an average of 19 women each month.

Our country was attacked. Not some of us, not only those on the right or the left. We’re forever changed. 9/11 is always a sad day, I think about my friends Calvin, Doug and Tom and their families. Honor the first responders, my local firehouse that lost so many that day. Never forget.
