I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I was the same age and have the same memories too! Summer holiday on #Anglesey springs to mind.

Also my husband’s 3x gt. grandfather, a great grand aunt, and his 2 murdered gt. grand uncles!
Caldbeck and the church of St Kentigern are special places.

We went there about 20 years ago. It is so eerie walking around the empty streets and yet normal life goes on just a short walk away. It’s hard to believe that things like this can happen.
This is an excellent book by Robert Pike - really worth reading.

It’s lost mine - there again I only lent it to them anyway!

We have Whitehaven, Cleator, Egremont, Frizington to name a few but the best/worst is Kirkland, where 2 gt. grand uncles were murdered in 1871! 😳

The one in the old Blacksmiths? My husband’s 2 x gt. grandfather was a blacksmith at one time in Caldbeck but not sure if it was at that one.

Caldbeck is a beautiful place - we have ancestors buried in the churchyard.
