It seems if a movie reaches a certain level of success, the Obligatory Sequel™️ is inevitable. And it’s often “okay,” but doesn’t quite capture the true spirit of the original.

Y’all, Black Phone 2 is NOT that movie! An amazing follow up that stands alone, but also builds off the first film.

Yeah, the actors are just fine. And yes, I know, 30 years ago…but I’ve seen enough fat shaming and homophobia in the last two hours of this show to last a lifetime.

I’ve never really watched it in any real sense, but now having second-hand endured two and a half episodes…how was “Friends” ever considered peak TV? I realize it was 20-30 years ago but…yeesh.

Even if you were “weird,” I think John’s tolerance for weird probably runs higher than most.

Sunday Scaries are always a thing for me, but are always the absolute WORST after a super fun emotionally boosting event.

Having to go back and exist in the day-to-day while the world is on fire and people I love are in danger feels so meaningless and stupid.

Saw Spider-Man 3 (2007) AKA Emo Spidey AKA Panic! At The Bugle with Mrs. Mimosa at the theater tonight.

That was certainly a movie. It was hard to describe to my wife, who wasn’t a fan of the world of comics until the MCU boom, what a wet fart that film’s version of Venom was.

I believe the cure for underwhelming new T Swift is new Gully Boys…

Rewatched “The Naked Gun” (2025) tonight.

Liam Neeson was never gonna fill those shoes, but it is still a great performance and a fun movie.

Prep was annoying and made me hangry. Procedure itself was a nice nap.

Please allow yourself a little grace. They make these things intentionally confusing so they can unload their predatory overdraft charges. It’s hard to keep all these things straight, especially when life has been in a state of upheaval.

Hoping things get figured out and back on track for you.
