Mine seem to have come to an agreement & wait mostly patient in a queue. Can work on 1 all day & at mealtimes another might drop a snippet to write down.
When I need a break from 1, I go back a chapter in another & have ReadAloud narrate me back into that story.

LOL Even before betas were asking, I was getting snippet hints from my MC's about what could happen next. The last one hasn't offered anything so I'm believing that's a big clue.

All mine begin as standalone & then betas ask if there's going to be more.
So now I'm up to 1 series that just needs the final book finished. 1 series where there's a couple pgs in the 'what's next' & couple chaps of a 'prequel'.
& 1 that's staying a standalone! 😁

3 novels in 1 of my series' have timelines before or directly after same-sex marriage was legal.
1 is 3 decades before.

Another the MC talks about when sapphic women living together were either 'roommates/housemates' or 'sisters'.

& 1 is approx 4yrs before legalization.

Thanks. Used 'blood-family' to show it's her ex & kids and not the found family she gains. I can switch it to 'The ex & kids' or 'Her ex & kids' without exceeding character limits.
