At 855 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Griggsville, or 11 miles northeast of Pittsfield, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of Northern Calhoun County in southwestern Illinois and Southeastern Brown and Pike Counties in west central Illinois. This includes Interstate 72 between exits 31 and 35.
