It's an RPGMaker game that is about making a series of life-and-death decisions in a very dark, mature setting. Enemies are always a threat and can kill you in a single turn of turn-based combat. Also very mature subject matter, as a heads up but I love how unabashedly "itself" the game is.

Playing through DS2 on release was incredibly frustrating. A friend and I bought it on his birthday and played together on his couch. We assumed the first area was Heide's Tower of Flame for some reason and oh boy was that not a fun experience lol. We rage quit for a few days before coming back
