How can one trust a minister who cannot even be honest about his own qualifications?

It's not "back to the USSR", as some say, as the Soviet Union at least cared deeply about *some* aspects of education, such as science and maths. I'll repeat it -- what we see with GD right now is nihilistic totalitarianism of wanting subjugation.

By that definition, any criticism of the GD regime (as by definition = potentially harmful to the state) could be considered a "criminal act".

GD seems terrified about #BBC report on using WW1 chemical agent in #Tbilisi during protests -- as shown by spending $600+ on advertising their version of events, compared with less than $100 on their other messages.

To them it's the single most important issue in #Georgia right now.

There are different things going on. Even the most generous evaluation finds GD being entirely deferential to the Kremlin.

That's not to say that the Kremlin instructs every step.

What we are seeing in Georgia in my view is best called "nihilistic totalitarianism" -- the attempt to remake and subjugate a society, with no positive vision.
