Through the month we’ve visited groups across Sheffield, speaking with:

Residents at two local care homes

People experiencing homelessness at the Archer Project

Attendees at the memory cafe at Parson Cross Development Forum

Families of children with SEND at an event at the Grand Mosque

We had a busy January!
Our engagement team spoke with lots of people about their experiences, including difficulties accessing appointments & online systems, and long waits for mental health assessments.
We also heard that local groups can be a lifeline for people to socialise and reduce isolation
