Haven’t played this yet but what you describe sounds like all FROM Software games and we love those!

I love games that do this. If you are perfectly matched to every enemy you encounter it lacks tension and likely doesn’t encourage exploration.

Amen my dude. If I was rich I would make sure there were plenty of shelters for every animal in the world. No more overcrowded shelters or kill shelters. One of these guys could cut a check to do exactly that and they wouldn't even notice the difference in their checking account.
