Oh boy. 12 years of love. A few days ago our boy Oscar seemed happy healthy goofy and good… all systems normal.
Within 48 hours he went from all-good to not eating, not getting up. We found out he was dying of cancer. He is gone and so fast… our hearts are broken. Hugs your fur-babies right now.

So, this is solely a pipe dream of an idea… but in my opinion promoting a socially funded network, while creating something that doesn’t backdown from fascist fear mongering, is a beautiful way to fight back.

Could you imagine?!?

During Covid, the late night hosts banded together to create a podcast that crushed. They kind of proved that they don’t need a major network to get people to watch… If Colbert created a new show for PBS, people would watch, people would donate.

Two problems, one solution.

His brand of entertainment has a voice that connects. If he built it, people (and money) would follow.

I’m imagining something more like a Mr. Colbert’s Neighborhood, but for all ages. He held up a mirror to the ridiculous nature of Fox News with the Colbert Report. He used the Late Show to bring us together.

Well it’s just an idea… but to play devils advocate, I believe Colbert has the ability and personality to work on something that does more than just add entertainment pool that we’re all swimming in. I’m not imagining another version of the Late Show or The Colbert Rreport…

I keep seeing this idea of Colbert taking over a show on HBO…. I say Colbert would be perfect for a new PBS show.
