Yesterday I found out that there is a binder vestige (something like lesser deity) in #dnd 3.5 that is basicaly souls of all of the egiptian firstborn killed during exodus merged into one being. Really cool lore, look it up. #ttrpg

I must add that we were really afraid that it will not go well and Panahilation will prevail and force Leynot to go into killing spree. Earlier we locked everyone who lived around Rosekeep in the keep, so that they would be protected from his wrath. Fortunately everything went well. /32

Panahilation turned into regular sword and Leynot felt the burden of the curse get lifted from his shoulders. It was great day for our party. The grippli child was named Oliver (Invincible reference) and we gave him to the dwarves and goblins that lived near our keep to raise /31

... I used the sphere on the child. I decided to turn him into grippli, like me. The anti magic wave spred across a mile radius. We performed two percentage rolls - one if the child will survive the spell and the other if the Panahilation gets destroyed. Both were succesfull to us! /30

Our team is in kind of good terms with Harpers in Silverymoon. We asked two of them to take Leynot and Panahilation with them in carriage. I followed them without any magic items and with the sphere and the child. When I was far from the keep but still got Panahilation in affected area... /29

The plan was:
1) get rid of all the magical items in the affected area apart from Panahilation
2) use sphere of fertility to cast alter beast on the child, so that he stops being this really ugly, repulsive hybrid creature
3) see if Panahilation gets destroyed in the process /28

In this moment plans of evil goblin necromancer and sphere of annihilation stopped to matter. Gabriel (party wizard) decided to teleport us back to the room in which we found goblin/ant child. We took him and then Gabriel teleported us all to our home (AKA the other end of Faerun) /27

As you can deduce the Sphere was used to create goblin/ant hybrids that lived in this lair and the goblin from the other tribe wanted to use it gods know how. Also, our wizard deduced that it was last used more than a decade earlier, so it was ready to cast alter beast again /26

Below you have cool art from FR wiki that ilustrates effect of the spell - human-beholder hybrid. Anyway - since it was such powerful spell, when casted it coused all magical items in certain radius (i think a mile) to be destroyed. It was just how Mystra reacted to casting a spell above level 9 /25

It also gave user opportunity to once every 10 years cast alter beast - very powerfull spell of basicaly level above 9. The spell could change DNA and appearance of a creature or merge two creatures into one. It was probably used to create owlbears back in the day /24

He rolled nat 20 which gave him a result above 30, and that's how we got to know basicaly everything about this item. It was called the sphere of fertility. It efected everyone in the radius of couple Miles by increasing chances of pregnancy /23

And went deeper into goblins lair, thinking that we will return to him. After some troubles and impersonating goblin-ant queen (long story) we found what we were looking for - big Crystal ball. Our Wizard decided to take a Look at it and perform knowledge (arcana) check /22

Party had little discussion what to do with the child. Some members wanted to end misserable life of this abomination but my PC and party wizard wanted to take the child with us. At the time He was eating ants, that infested the place and seemed to not be in danger, so we left him in the room... /21

As repulsive and really ugly hybrids of ants and goblins. Actualy not creatures but their corpses with one exception - little goblin-ant Child, that was still connected to his dead mother with umbilical cord. 20/

We made a deal with him and headed to Dragons Ant tribe. He gave us Directions. He wanted us to retrieve great Cristal ball. We reached our destination, fought some dinosaur and katoblepas and inside caves we found creatures that were described by our DM 19/

We told him that we are looking for the sphere of annihilation. He said, that he can give us the location of this artifact if we retrieve something for him. His tribe once obliterated another tribe of goblins named Dragon Ant Goblins. He wanted to get something from them, but he wasnt able to 18/

After couple days in the jungle we encountered tribe of goblins ruled by some evil goblin, connected to some dark powers (i dont remember what it was, but he certainly did necromancy). We killed some of his goblins and planned to kill him but he wanted to talk with us 17/

We didnt want this cursed evil sword in our party so we searched for a way to get rid of it. We learned that it could potentialy be destroyed by an ancient artifact known as sphere of annihilation. One of those things could be in the jungles of Chult, so we headed there 16/

If he failed it, player lost Control of the character and Leynot went on a killing spree. He was also tortured with visions of dead people. In general it wasn't nice. It had one upside: he could not die. If he died, his Body would assemble couple minutes later around Panahilation. 15/

So, our party had a problem: Leynot was possesed by Panahilation, cursed evil Red greatsword from another dimmension. I don't really remember how our party got this thing, i joined the team after that. What i knew is that Leynot from time to time could face a will Save 14/

I'm pretty hyped for this chain/hook mechanic. I hope it will be a part of the gameplay. #Witcher4 #WitcherIV

This prestige class in #dnd 3.5 is pretty good. Sourcebook also encourages you to homebrew a variant of it that connects binding not with magic, but with psionics. Love to play that one day #ttrpg

The meme I didn't know I needed

#LancerRPG has the best encounter/fighting mechanic that I've ever seen in any #ttrpg. It lets players and GM use tactical thinking but it's also really dynamic and rounds don't take forever like in DnD for example

There are also two characters, that were in the party, but players decided to step down from various reason. That being: Hylias, lesser aasimar druid,
and Shivana, infant dragon Rogue. Besides that we had some perma deaths in party (like barbarian that i played before Squonk) 13/?

Mangix, human monk/cleric/sacred fist. He serves Jergal, forgotten god of dead. He likes to use his fist in the name of lawfull neutral things. Constantly meditates death and eternal stuff. One of his arms is skeletal. 12/?

Rhazeem, t'kel ardent. Newest party member. He wants to avenge his parents killed by some cult. Tragic backstory and strong life beliefs. Also: cool black plate armor. 11/?

Gabriel Araris the Orange, elf wizard/Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil. Unformal leader of team. Very wise, very young and very horny. He owns a keep (named Rosekeep), that is our party base (effect of a wish Spell) 10/?

Leynot is air genasi warblade/bloodstorm blade. He has pretty no-nonsense attitude to life. Former member of Mindulgulph Mercenary Company and former owner of cursed blade Panahilation. He wants to meet his father and potentialy get revenge for leaving him and his mother back in the day. 9/?
