Bound to, since I can't remember, in detail, why the sky is blue. I know it has to do with light exciting electrons in the air or something, but that's about it.

I remember once, on a bus, explaining why the sky is blue to a child who had asked their parent. Said parent had no idea and I had recently read an explanation. The parent was, thank goodness, grateful rather than offended.

There's a sweet spot where someone understands what they are talking about but can explain it a way that doesn't leave ordinary minds spinning.
People who have that skill should be well paid for it. Good teachers, for example.

It's a cult of perosnality and he hasn't had time to install a successor structure, so things will probably return to a degree of normality if he just gently moves on as a result of natural causes.
