Witness Appeal Nick Stone sadly died on 10th January 2026 on his way home from the counter protest. His death is being investigated as a death following police contact. The contact with police took place at 11.54am on Saturday 10th January on Clare Street, Bristol, where Nick ended up in the ground. He was a 65 year old white man wearing a black and white Palestinian scarf, a black coat, an orange hi vis vest, and was holding a placard. My area has free buses, and the increased ridership when they got rid of fares made it so that it was cost effective to add new and more frequent bus routes.

It also helped build ridership for the paid ferry to the barrier island, since people don't have to figure out road transportation anymore.
