For a large part of my life I didn't trust men.
How could I?
When all I had learnt from them had been physical and emotional abuse.
As a threat.
The strongest men I know are brave because they are willing to express emotion.
That to me is the very essence of what it means to be a man.
Last night.
I spent an evening in an old church
In the middle of an old village
In the company of others
(the setting was just right) for the telling of oral stories.
I think what iβm trying to say in a roundabout way is this.
