The above group and Jaheira lead on the rebuilding of the city, and she ensures tieflings are seen as essential to BG going forward. She does find the whole affair pretty exhausting, so after the city’s in a better place, she lets go of that when she moves up to Waterdeep and has 0 say there.

Prior to and during the game - no. Post-game, Eya stays back in BG for a bit to help rebuild. With Wyll as a Duke, Rolan in charge of Ramazith’s Tower and Zevlor and the Hellriders, she works to establish a solid tiefling (Wyll’s close enough) presence in positions of power in the city.

Post-game, she still doesn’t really have a trade or job. Gale’s the sole breadwinner. The pair occasionally take on adventure contracts to relive the excitement, and Eya will sometimes take on solo contracts, but that’s the only way SHE makes money.

She doesn’t have one. Living outside of society, Eya doesn’t need gold. She’s a skilled hunter and can obviously grow produce, so she can barter these things if she needs something like armour - or steal it.

Catching up after a weekend away!

I hesitate to call it a vice, but sex would be Eya’s main one. She’s had a number of partners and experiences, but nothing deeper than a fling until Gale, and she definitely uses it as stress relief.

She does also enjoy psychedelics but rarely gets to indulge.

It’s really her experiences in BG3 that make her more sociable - the companions and Elturel tieflings are the first real friends she’s had in years. Through these connections (and her deep bond with Gale), she comes to realise she’s been shielding herself from feeling just how lonely she’s been.

Eya is wary of people. Pre-game, she’d keep a close eye on anyone wandering into whatever forest she was living in, watching from a distance before potentially meeting them. She was VERY antihuman, tho, and always kept away from them. Even after BG3, she’s still not fully comfortable around humans.

I’ve seen a few folks go for the “if you simply must watch that new Harry Potter show just pirate it” and sorry. No. Just no. Just don’t watch it. At all. Ever. Break free of it. It’s time. You’ll be ok. I promise. I know it mattered to you as a kid. Find new things, it’s healthier. Just move on.

With all the left turns Eya’s life has taken, she doesn’t really have any goals. She’s very much been surviving rather than thriving. Again, this is something that sends her into an existential crisis/depression post-game as she starts to settle into “normal” life in Waterdeep.

Initially she’d get piiiiiiissed at Gale for throwing a fire spell at an enemy in her spike growth, but they learned to work together. He’d frequently use enlarge on her to buff her in fights, and she’d create water for his spells.

Typical moon druid. Eya usually puts up a concentration spell before wildshaping, almost always into an owlbear. She tanks on the front line, often taking blows for her wizard. She almost always directly engages rather than sneaking in.

Eya’s very utilitarian so doesn’t really do treatos. This is another area where Gale introduces her to these small luxuries - coffee is a big one. As a kid, she WOULD get to eat things from her parents’ bakery, but only if they were too stale to sell. A fresh meat pie was the biggest treat for her.

With the pair going long-distance for a bit. Gale goes to retrieve the crown & return to Waterdeep while Eya stays in Baldur’s Gate for a bit to help right some of her wrongs and rebuild the city. The time apart helps them even out to a more adult, healthy relationship when she eventually moves up.

This is PARTICULARLY true in how she approaches her relationship with Gale. He’s very much her first love, and she goes all in like a teenager would. It blinds her to the needs of her other companions since the pair get lost in one another. She realises this after the game, takes some time apart…

Eya is roughly 32. She spent some time in the Feywild, and time is wonky there. In some ways, she acts a bit older with her high wisdom stats & self-discipline. But she’s also a bit emotionally stunted when it comes to interpersonal relationships since she’s spent the bulk of her adult life alone.

Not really applicable to Eya. She has flaws for sure, but not a dark side.

The only way her self-image changes throughout the game is that she realises how utterly lonely she was - her brain had never allowed herself to process that. Her relationship with Gale also makes her realise that she does want to put down roots and stop being a nomadic hermit.

Eya views herself as practical, responsible, talented and hard done by. She has a chip on her shoulder for how society treated her, and she feels deeply proud of her tiefling heritage. She’s free spirited and confident, and while she hides her emotions, she’s broadly who she projects herself to be.

After watching Shadowheart’s ordeal with her parents, however, Eya did decide to write to them again before the final fight to let them know she was alive and in Baldur’s Gate, facing some Big Stuff. They end up moving to Baldur’s Gate (even though Eya is in Waterdeep) and they reconcile.

Eya lost contact with her parents when she left home to become a druid. She wrote to them initially but stopped when she left the circle since she didn’t have a return address. Growing up, her parents weren’t cruel or cold, but their own relationship was more important to them than parenting.

She prefers to bathe in private, but there was a time prior to their relationship when she convinced Gale to join her. Once in a relationship, she’s not fussed when he joins her. He introduces her to fancy soap potions he’s made, or he sometimes uses prestidigitation (which she is NOT a fan of).

As a druid, Eya’s comfortable with a bit of dirt and grime, but she does bathe regularly in rivers/streams using plants/herbs as a soap substitute. Baths are the limit of her body care routine. After Gale mentioned liking her “musk,” though, those baths became a bit less frequent…

On the one hand, she likes to wear nice clothes to flaunt her new status and prove she belongs, particularly at events at Blackstaff. But then she also feels it’s wasteful to spend money on that. She feels guilt over not having regular employment like Gale, but she was quite burnt out post-game.

Lower class but not impoverished. Her parents owned a small bakery that she’d sometimes help out in.

Now that she’s married to Gale and lives in Waterdeep, she’s upper class. She’s cynical about it, and she struggles with it for a while post-game.

Eya didn’t have much formal education, just basics. She could speak with animals from a young age, so left home at 15 to train as a druid. She was studious and talented, but after 5 years, she realised the archdruids were training her slower than her non-tiefling peers. She left to study on her own.

Nothing special at all. Both of Eya’s parents were tieflings, so they knew she would be as well. The only question was whether she’d be red like her mother or yellow like her father.
