Why is it, whenever I go to see a show, I get stuck sitting behind the 8 foot tall lumberjack with ants in his pants? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Last night was one of those nights where I fell asleep and woke up in the exact same position. I don’t remember the last time I slept so hard.

I know why I drive home in silence.

The past couple of days for me have been filled with bad news - news of illness, death, etc. - and I am worn down. This morning I am laying in bed with 3 of my dogs, absorbing all of their love and goodness, and hoping for a better day.

While we were out yesterday, I told my husband we had to stop @ the library to pick up some books I had on hold. He then proceeded to go on a tangent about the 7 books that came in the mail & asked me why I’m buying books & borrowing them. Hey - he knew what he was getting into when he married me. 😉

Only to add to the insanity of the world, I am being forced to sit back and watch as one of the best co-workers I’ve ever had is being forced out of his job due to petty nonsense. So many people have spoken up for him, but the higher ups aren’t budging. I could scream.

What’s fun about having MS? Helping my daughter with her fractions homework and all of a sudden my brain just stopped functioning and I couldn’t remember how to do ANY of the problems I just spent the past 30 minutes helping her with. Like my mind went completely blank. One of my worst moments yet.

Is anyone else’s 10 year old as argumentative as mine?

I spent 3 years working on my Master’s degree to be a librarian. I am finally working as a librarian. My husband tonight says to me “Are you working at the desk checking out books for people?” Is that…really what he thinks I do? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have got so much stuff to do, but my dog has been asleep on my lap for a ridiculously long time and I refuse to wake him up.

Listening to my hubs having a political argument over TikTok. Just another Saturday afternoon in my house.

I loved this series so much! I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. Really solid ending (no spoilers, I promise!!) but I was very pleased with the series as a whole!!

Oh, I loved this book SO MUCH.

I am more upset than I’d care to admit about the TT ban. However, I am super excited to see all of the lovely #BookTok crew here and have already reserved my space on Tome so I can hopefully reconnect with many of the people I followed previously because I’d be lost without their recommendations!
