โ€œThe major problem-one of the major problems, for there are several-one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.
To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made
President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

And as we go back down the ladder we discover that yes, the mind was like large language model after all

yes, it was like a computer too

and yes, it was like an engine of gears

and yes, it was like a fine clockwork mechanism

and finally yes, it was like a wheel that spins round and round

at this point iโ€™m regretting not making this script months ago, the friction it has eliminated was even more taxing than iโ€™d realised

heh, wrote an awk script today.

donโ€™t remember the last time i did that, would have been awhile.

a saner person may have used python, but the regexes were the meat of it, python wouldnโ€™t have made that easier

works for now; time will tell if i regret this ahah

grid of lavender colored tiles. Spacing is 6.9%, space between tiles relative to tile width. there are white spots in the intersections.

So the Hermann grid illusion can be annoying when doing unit symbol charts, because it causes scintillating dark spots in the corners of the grid.

Had to try and see what happens if you put lighter spots where the illusory spots appear. Well, this makes it worse! ๐Ÿ“Š
