20.07.2025 17:26 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I wouldnโt want it to be the default across the board though. Itโs nice that theyโre treated like all other users. By seeing them you might realize you donโt like them, and then opt into a thread customization thing.
Curious what others think.
I like them, but I think it should be easier to customize to your preferences. A good labeler (maybe they already exist) and a client with better thread controls should do the trick.

20.07.2025 17:11 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is what I hear from my family in Japan but I havenโt done any research to back that up myself.
20.07.2025 17:10 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I was trying to think of something that would work well as a fun little gift for my barber whoโs from Brazil. Could encircle the country like this as a bit of art.

20.07.2025 02:25 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also, this is a great way for me to contribute to the room decor because I can make something cool and she can adjust the colors to fit the aesthetic weโre going for.
win-win
I was torn trying to figure out what I should do a visualization of, but then my partner reminded me that I can just do all of them and see what turns out nicely. Great idea.

20.07.2025 00:32 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1Yeah I think it's pure. There's an option to disable the default system prompt but I didn't check that.
I was surprised too. I'm used to Claude with my user preferences which I've refined to avoid the sycophantic behavior so it was jarring to go back to the default.
Also filing this under "humans are pretty cool, actually"
11.07.2025 20:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hank Green articulates something I've felt but haven't ever put down on paper (yay communicators that can do this):
The "humans bad" solution to the Fermi Paradox, that is, "humans are especially bad and expansionary", does not make a lot of sense.
My first Numinex thread
11.07.2025 20:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0^ my feelings exactly. A shared platform to interact with AI is great.

11.07.2025 20:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The blog post is worth reading too, even if you don't try it out.
11.07.2025 20:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This is fascinating. I've wanted a better way to publicly use AI and share their outputs for a while now, and this is a step in the right direction.
11.07.2025 20:25 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I explored this thought with Claude Sonnet 4 through Numinex
11.07.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1I'm curious about this too. My first thought is that it's probably because fetch works fine?
11.07.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Even if it doesn't exist, it wouldn't take too long to set up, I imagine.
11.07.2025 20:01 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Tbh there's probably a workflow for this out there alreadyโI just haven't gotten around to looking for it.
11.07.2025 20:01 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The `bm` "Web Bookmarks" feature is already really good, but I don't always want to open Safari bookmarks in Safari and Chrome bookmarks in Chrome. If I'm able to just copy the URL, then it's easy to open it wherever.
