Kip : "Um Mason, I'm sure you're wondering why we took this detour through the city" Mason (thinking) : "Detour?" Panel 5 : A close-up of Kip's face. Kip : "I thought it might be nice to stop by before I left for the month." Panel 6 : Kip and Mason are still walking down, looking around them. This part of town looks a little more run down, vegetation is growing on the buildings, and there are graffiti and cracks on the stone walls.

Kip : "I... I used to really hate being back here. But, recently, it feels different. Knowing this is where I met you changed what being here meant to me. It... It's like a physical representation of when my life started to turn around" Panel 3 : Kip looking down shyly. Mason is looking straight ahead. Kip : "When, um... You came into it." Panel 4 : An extreme close-up of Mason's face. Mason (thinking) : "Kip... They're being so vulnerable..." Panel 5 : Kip looking back at a restaurant topped with a big fish-shaped sign. Kip : "This is where we first ate together, remember?" Panel 6 : Kip and Mason are reaching the bottom of the slope, walking along a brick wall. Kip : "And here's where I slipped and fell and we both got covered in mud...! It really does feel like yesterday, doesn't it?"

Mason (thinking) : "They're being so sentimental... Surely... they aren't trying to...?" Panel 4 : Mason letting go of Kip's hand. Panel 5 : Kip and Mason have reached the bus stop. Mason tries walking away. Mason : "Er- we're here at the bus stop. It'd be best if I started heading back before it gets dark out. Call me when you're at the station, alright ?" Kip : "Ah!! U-um, wait, if you could just stay a few minutes! There's uhm, something I wanted to tell you!" Panel 6 : Mason starts walking. Kip reaches for them. They both push back and forth, Mason trying to leave and Kip pushing to stay. Kip blurts out, "Mason! I-"

Kip : "I can barely think straight around you !" Panel 3 : Kip slowly starts looking back up. Kip : "Everything you do, even just being around-" Panel 4 : Kip finally looks back up at Mason. They immediately stop, shocked. Kip : "...you" Panel 5 : Mason is sweating, looking horrified. Behind them, the panel shatters like glass and reads "TOO LATE".
