The photo is maybe from the 40s or 50s, as evidenced by the old-style fashion of the cars in front of the airport. The photo is taken from a hill with scrub brush in the foreground. Mountains line the horizon. The back reads: The cars attended the car convention without the people. It was a scandal, and almost impossible for anyone to get to work. Sure, the buses were still working, but people (wrongly) still had their pride. What was happening at the car convention? Everyone knew whatever it was, it was nothing good, what with all the honking so loud it drove all the pigeons from downtown. A few mechanics and cab drivers with close personal relationships with their vehicles had gone in to try and talk sense into the cars, but they never came out. We just had to wait until they ran out of gas or battery life. Until then, we enjoyed clear skies.

I know the temptation is to just scroll past this with a “not surprised” reaction, but you should read this if you have the emotional bandwidth to encounter horrifying slurs and violent sentiments, because there’s an important takeaway: extremism is often performed to reinforce an in-group’s bond.

Cats are cool too don't get me wrong 🖤

But honestly she's the sweetest most friendly thing and I'm so lucky to have her and basically aren't dogs just the best 🖤

Which is not to say that she isn't also a very good doggo, and also not to beat myself up about how I'm doing, but dog training has its rollercoaster moments 😅

Been gradually introducing this menace to being off lead (quiet places, trying to make it as safe and controlled as possible) - today was one of those days where there were moments where her training seemed to go straight out the window and I felt like such a bad dog mom

Aaanddddd caught up with the finale of Alien Earth and honestly it might have its faults but my main take away is that it was a whole lot of fun and that is no bad thing at all 🖤
