We had such a joyful time at the National Book Award ceremony last night. It was an honor to represent my friends on the Young People‘s Literature panel by announcing the winner, THE TEACHER OF NOMADLAND by Daniel Nayeri.

It is genuinely incredible to me how much evidence there is to support investing in the public good and how much animus there is to do this simple, effective thing.
