Views on smoking from people living in housing association homes In early 2025, people living in housing association homes shared their views on stop smoking messaging, and the free NHS stop smoking service. We wanted to learn more about what stop-smoking messaging was the most impactful to help shape stop-smoking campaigns in Derbyshire.

Earlier this year we asked housing association residents about their smoking habits & stop-smoking messaging.

We found that messaging around health & money-saving were most persuasive and more support is needed for people wanting to stop vaping.
