We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion. It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will now involve sending in another state’s military troops.

This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.

MAGA policies have shafted rural voters bigly - from tariffs, inflation & cuts to health care, SNAP, and public broadcasting, etc! Gives us opportunity to build infrastructure in these key States for 2026 wins.

It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.

I wish Dems would PLAY INTO IT: highlight the abuses, describe what Trump’s doing as specifically a war against Latinos, and demand protections for Latinos in the law and Constitution. It’s all upside - it shreds Trump’s coalition and it’s a powerful vehicle for resistance

The “courts” are holding.

One court is not.

The protests are on one block. Nothing is burning down. His justification for sending in troops is all based on lies.

But somehow Trump not just breaking a promise but intentionally misrepresenting his entire extremist, revolutionary agenda to absolutely devastate and reconfigure US government is treated as, more or less, Trump Just Being Trump.
