Judge Immergut has issued her written TRO prohibiting the Trump administration from relocating or deploying federalized national guard troops to Oregon.

Remember that the TX NG (like any deployed from OR, CA, or IL) will not get paid during a shutdown.

So, uproot them from family, home, jobs. And not pay them.

If a governor wants to activate their state's national guard using their state's payroll to conduct law enforcement in their own state -- that's one thing.

If those troops are however federalized, paid from US Treasury or sent to another state without that gov's permission, it violates federal law.

Governor Whitmer was almost kidnapped by armed thugs. Governor Shapiro‘s house was set on fire. Nancy Pelosi‘s husband was violently attacked by someone looking for her. Melissa Hortman was assassinated in her home with her husband and dog…and now this. The left is the victim, not the perpetrator.

Late tonight, a federal judge issued a sweeping new order prohibiting the president from deploying any National Guard forces—from any state or DC—to Oregon.

The president cannot keep playing whack-a-mole with different states’ Guard units to get around court orders and the rule of law.

Is it a good sign or a bad sign if a federal judge has to remind you (multiple times) that you’re a lawyer and an officer of the court?

Every Republican who stands by while Trump dangerously escalates this conflict with Democrat-led cities and states is complicit in his crimes.

Stephen Miller said last year this was the plan. They said it out loud. Some of us highlighted his remarks at the time and warned how dangerous they were. Most of the media missed them and/or moved on from them. It’s happening:

They still haven’t found all the missing children from the floods. Why are they more worried about Illinois than about the children in Texas?

I fear that the legal community will act like Trump admin's lawyers are normal lawyers--like they'll get nice firm jobs and their law schools will invite them to talk to students, etc--but the lawyers facilitating Trump's lawlessness should be professionally and socially shamed

We’re only 9 months into this presidency and he’s already sending troops from red states into blue states while clearly stating his motives are political.
