Just watched Pride and Prejudice miniseries from 95 and now watching 2005 movie

I’ve always been an apologist for 2005 and I do maintain that it is gorgeous to look at - but it really does not compare to the slow burn of 95

My 80y.o. teacher at Christian school meant to skip that part of the movie but got distracted grading papers, missed her cue and had to just jump up and throw her body in front of the screen to try and block the titties

At my christian school - every year when we got the scholastic book fair order forms we had to go through it with a sharpie and x out the “dangerous” books we weren’t allowed to order like Animorphs and ghostbusters. Anything with fantasy/magic was considered a path to the devil.
